Alex Oliver Associates is a RIBA chartered architectural practice. Established in 1999, we have extensive experience in the conservation, restoration and adaptation of historic buildings, alongside the thoughtful design of new buildings within sensitive historic and landscape settings.

As architects and designers, we offer a comprehensive range of services that guide projects from the initial consultation through every stage of design and construction, culminating in a successful handover to our clients. Design Approach

We are a small, dynamic team of architects who take great delight in creating fine architecture and environments.  The buildings that we design seek to strike the balance between formality and informality through an architecture that draws on the strengths of both traditional and modern architecture. We believe that good design is not a matter of style, but of substance, skill and care.

Our design interests range from the modern through to the traditional. Our ambition is to create fine architecture and environments through clarity of design, awareness of scale, and the elegance of clean harmonious proportion. Our buildings value tradition while reflecting contemporary life.
