Alex Oliver Associates was appointed to design a new housing scheme on a steeply sloping site in the heart of Chippenham town centre. This project presented a unique opportunity to create a collection of thoughtfully designed homes that not only responded to the site's challenging topography but also enhanced the surrounding urban fabric.
Our approach focused on maximising the site's potential by integrating sustainable building practices and ensuring that the development complemented the character of Chippenham. Through careful consideration of the land’s natural contours, the design embraced tiered landscaping and innovative architectural solutions to create homes that are both practical and visually engaging.
